Margie and Steve...

We have been friends since college.

We were members of the Biola Sail

Club, then started a group for

college/career students at the

Fullerton Evangelical Free Church and surrounding area--the Christian Sailing Club. Cruises happened from 1974

'till 1979.

Each of us has lost our spouse and we

reconnected in 2023. We enjoy

the company of the other and

have begun doing some platonic

traveling together...

* September 25--I joined Margie at her daugher Heather at her place in Cottage Grove, Oregon. Dinner at Jack Sprats.

* September 26--Heather cooked us a wonderful breakfast; thanks, Heather!!! Tour of Heather's surroundings, lunch back at Jack Sprats, then off to the Out and About Treehouse Resort near Cave Junction, OR. We got there after dark and got settled in the Majestree .

* September 27--A day touring the treesort village and enjoying the Majestry.

* September 28--Left the treesort around noon and got to Crescent City before dark.

* September 29--Happy Heavenly birthday, Mom! Fellowship in the morning, lunch by the ocean, afternoon at the lighthouse, sunset, and dinner back at Margie's.

* September 30--Trees of Mystery, lunch in the trees, Tsunami Walk in Crescent City, sunset, and dinner.

* September 30--

* October 1--Crescent City to Dixon. Stopped for fuel near Hartsook Inn and Willits. Drove by Clear Lake and arrived in Dixon and dinner with Margie's daughter and son-in-law, Holly and Tony, and Margie's brother, Tom at Olive Garden in Vacaville.

* October 2--Up early in Dixon, then drove home to Porterville...good times!!!
